WB-RDW Metal Access Door

Our recessed drywall door gives the customer the option of installing a matching piece of drywall into the door panel, thus keeping the continuity of the visual area. The outer frame has a special drywall bead configuration so that the unit may be cemented in place at the same time the rest of the job is being done.

Construction Features:

Door: 14 Ga. steel. Door is recessed 1" to accept drywall.
Box Return Frame: 16 Ga. steel. These models have a 1 " wide perforated flange of 24 Ga. Satin Coated material for mounting purposes.
Hinges: Fully concealed pivot type hinge can be opened to 110 degrees; will be placed on long side of door unless otherwise requested.
Latches: Flush, steel cam operated with screw driver. Latches are positioned opposite hinge aswell as top and bottom on larger sizes.
Finish: Baked grey enamel over rust-inhibitingphosphate treated steel.
Options: (AT EXTRA COST) Key-operated medium barrel cylinder lock.
Optional Finishes:(AT EXTRA COST) Stainless Steel Type 304 No. 4 Satin Finish.
